About me

Victor Rodeia

I’m a Nashville-based photographer focused on documenting people, places, and performance as they happen—unfiltered and in real time.

My work is rooted in being present within the environment. Whether it’s a live show, a crowd reacting in the moment, or a place in motion, I’m drawn to the energy that can’t be recreated. I’m not interested in staging or directing—I’m there to capture what’s already happening.

Music and travel shape how I shoot. From stages to streets to everything in between, I focus on the connection between people and place—the atmosphere, the movement, and the details that give a moment its weight.

I didn’t come into photography through a traditional path. My grandfather introduced me to the idea of capturing fleeting moments, but it wasn’t until years later—on a trip to Iceland—that I picked up a camera myself. Something clicked in the process of slowing down and paying attention, and I haven’t put it down since.

Outside of photography, my work takes me across the country year-round. That constant movement—new cities, new environments, different rhythms—continues to shape how I see and shoot. Before that, I spent time working on tugboats and later in the electrical trade, experiences that taught me to stay patient, aware, and ready for the moment when it happens.

I’m not looking to recreate moments—I’m there to catch them as they unfold.

If you’re looking for coverage that reflects the energy of a live show or the character of a place, feel free to reach out.
